This relatively new golf course is located in the northeastern Chinese city of Qinhuangdao, BaiDaiHe District. The seaside resort area is famous as a Russian summer getaway, and the Great Wall of China commences here as it rises out of the ocean.

With 2 championship golf courses now completed and open in the area, and the city being serviced by the high speed bullet train, it is expected that the sandy beaches and delicious seafood available will bring many golfers to this area during the spring, summer and fall season.

The IMG Design golf course provides a fun, yet challenging adventure through native pine forests, around rock outcroppings and even over an abandoned quarry. Opened in July 2013, the course is impeccably maintained to the highest standards as it meanders its way up and down the rolling terrain, ending back at the stunning Clubhouse set into a rocky hillside. This IMG Design classic was designed in harmony to the land, makes its way around the forested, rocky site, using all of the natural features that were uncovered to great effect, making the course a true test of accuracy and length.

The course has won numerous awards and should be on everyone’s list when golfing in northern China.
